April Favourites

Feeling good about this month's favourites, feel like things are getting nice and Springy and light and eeeeek.... I can't wait for it to be warm!! (Also trying really hard not to start this post by saying 'can't believe it's April favourites time already'... but I mean seriously, a third of the way through 2014 already?!?!?)

Urban Decay, Naked Palette//  So yes, I am so late to this party that the balloons have deflated, the dip has gone off and everyone's round queuing at the kebab shop. But I'm putting it in anyway, as it has truly been a favourite this month. There are so many looks you can make, and, while I don't think I'll bother doing a review/swatches post as I think everyone already knows, I will be doing a post showing a few of my favourite looks.

Barry M Silk Nail Paint in Heather// I did a NOTD post on this recently, and normally, after that I'd file it away in my box and move onto something new, but not this one. This one actually made it back out of the box *gasp*. I just can't get enough of it, it's so unique and so, so Springish - girly and bright without being sickly or over the top. Someone please restrain me from buying the whole range.

Real Techniques weird angled pointy brush (probably not the real name)// I have no idea what this brush is actually for... brows?! Yeah, it's a brow brush.... probably. Anyway, that's not what I've been using it for! I've been loving a kinda grungy eye makeup look and I've been using this brush to kind of work the eyeshadow right in under my lower lashes - it's such a firm brush and it holds and deposits product so well, it's the best brush I've ever found for the job.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Polish// I've gone back and forth a little on this one, but ultimately, it's landed in the 'love' pile. I really like this scent from The Body Shop anyway, so that started it off in good stead, and it's actually a really effective exfoliator despite the smaller scrubby particle things, full review/post to come soon.

Apples// So my favourite kind of apples are McIntosh, but according to my lovely local fruit stand guys, they're out of season until September and so I've been on the hunt for a favourite to tide me over until then. At the moment Golden Delicious are taking the lead, but it's early days yet. I eat at least one apple everyday, and so far, not a single Dr has appeared...

Topshop Glow in Polish// Hauled this earlier in the month (you may remember) and I've been using it a lot since. One thing I will say is that a little goes a long way with this stuff, I learned the hard way and spent a day walking around looking like a Cirque de Soliel performer. I use it on my cheek and brow bones - I think (for me) it's too shimmery to use elsewhere).

Steamcream// This came as part of my You Beauty Discovery box for April and I have been using it almost daily since. I will definitely be repurchasing this. It has a very unique texture, very light and airy, but it's still intensely moisturizing. I've used it on my hands, feet, body and face and there's nowhere it doesn't seem to work wonders.

Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation// I've posted on this already this month so I shan't ramble much, well, I'll try. This foundation and my new finger method of application really marks a turning point my relationship with foundation - it's made me confident and excited about wearing them rather than fearing them and feeling really uneasy and formal when I've got some on. It's a fantastic Spring foundation that leaves your skin looking healthy, dewy and bright.

Favourites are some of my erm, favourite posts to read from bloggers, so by all means, if you have an April favourites post on your blog, please feel free to link it below - I'd love to check it out!
