Boots Haul

Another week another Boots haul post eh? Well not quite, but not far off actually. Hmm. As I'm worrying about this content becoming a little boring and repetitive I'm going to try and keep this one short and snappy!

Soap and Glory Orangeasm Body Wash £6.50 // I already had plans to pick up a couple of things from Soap and Glory, but, when I saw the almighty EssieButton talk about this one and how great it smelled (plus, I mean, who doesn't love the name!? ... Well, my Gran but that's a whole other story), I just had to give it a try. Pleased to report it smells fruity and amazing - plus these giant bottles from Soap and Glory are just great value.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash £6.50 // I bought the scrub in this scent a while ago, but with my dry/sensitive skin I find I can't use it every time I shower - so I picked this up so I can enjoy that awesome scent every day!

Soap and Glory Glow Lotion £5.50 // I've been using this stuff for ages; I make an annual purchase every Spring and it just smells like warm weather, sunshine and Summer to me now! I'm a complete scaredy cat when it comes to fake tans, bronzers, body shimmers and the like, but I love applying some of this all over before an evening out. It smells fantastic and it adds a beautiful soft and subtle glow - especially around my shoulders and collarbone.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer £5.49 // This foundation has completely stolen my heart and so how could I resist giving the accompanying concealer a shot too? I have a full post coming but *spoiler alert* I ain't loving it so far.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Latino £6.49 // I only own a couple of Rimmel lipsticks and to be honest, a lot of the shades available just don't do it for me. I love the formula of the Moisture Renew range though and figured I'd try out another one. Latino is a medium, berry pink with a lovely shimmer finish and it turns out it's much more wearable than I initially thought.

Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti £7.99 // I've never really owned or considered an orange toned lip colour - I'm not sure how it would work on my colouring and also, frankly, I'm more of a nude gal anyway. But, I love the lip butters from Revlon and so figured if I was ever going to try one, this was the range to do it from. These colours are great because you can kind of build them up in layers - great for growing confidence with a colour.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Ole Flamingo £8.99 // What was I saying about being a nude lip gal?! I know, I know. To be honest I swatched this in store one day, wrote it off as being far, faaaaaarrrr to bold for me and left it. Then, much later in the day I looked at my hand and there it still was. I was impressed and actually, although it scares the pants off me, I love the colour... just need to work up the courage to wear it some time other than when I'm home in my pyjamas. It's a bold, matte finish fuschia pink - it is the right shade for my colouring, but boy is it bold!

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow £8.99 // Revlon is a brand I've fallen for more and more recently and I'm snapping up everything I can to try out. I do love a good highlighter and the pink tones in this appealed to me - I'll have a full post on this one soon.

Soltan Moisturising Suncare Stick £4 // Thought about leaving this one out as it's not the most exciting now is it? But hey Summer is coming up so, if not thrilling, sun care is at least a necessary thing we must all consider. I'm all stocked up for our September holiday in Florida but I grabbed this as I find them to be life savers for on the go facial touch ups. Nobody wants that Rudolph look after all!

And that dear readers is the conclusion of another haul. I feel like I'm developing an imbalance in posts - lots of hauls and first looks, but not enough in depth posts and reviews. Expect me to lay off the shopping for new things kinda posts for a while and really focus on some of the wonderful (and not so wonderful) goodies I've accumulated of late.

    1. Yeah I think the Revlon lip butters might be my favourite lip colours of all time! ... As is probably evident by the fact I have an entire post just about them up today! xx
