#FridayFaves: Body Moisturisers for Summer

So for this week's #FridayFaves I thought I'd show you my favourite body moisturisers for Spring/Summer. I've never made a secret of my crazy dry skin and in winter scent preferences go out of the window in favour of finding the most hydrating lotions possible - but, in the (theoretically) warmers months I can stop worrying quite so much and spend an age sniffing lotions and potions to pick out my favourite Summer smells.

The Body Shop Body Butters in Peach and Coconut £13.00 each // Truthfully I think I could have picked the entire favourite five from this range at The Body Shop - so many amazing smells. But, I've tried to be restrained so this isn't the most boring list of all time. Coconut is, for so many people, a Summer smell and I'm no exception - I love cracking out coconut lotions, soaps and lip balms this time of year, it just smells like sunlight and warmth and happiness! The peach number from the Body Shop is new (to me anyway) this Spring, I've generally always chosen the grapefruit scent from the fruit selection, but I erm... *cough* might have clicked the wrong image online when I ordered *cough*.... whaaaatt? Both the tubs are pink!! Anyway, hurrah for my technological incompetence as this is a fantastically scented lotion. It smells like a peach/nectarine. I don't mean "it's scented like one", I mean my mouth starts to water when I open this tub as it smells so real: if someone blindfolded me and held this up I couldn't tell you it wasn't an actual peach.

L'Occitane Rose Aurore Body Milk the 250ml is £20.00 // This is my 'fancy' body lotion. The one I don't smear in vast quantities over my legs and torso, but instead I use it on my neck/chest and arms as almost a sort of perfume if I'm going out for a nice meal or something - trust me. the rose oil in this is high quality so the scent really lasts on the skin. I love rose scents and wear them all year round, but this is a "white rose" scent that is incredibly crisp and clear - great for the warmer Spring months.

Burt's Bees Milk and Honey Body Lotion £9.99 // This is my most 'functional' lotion out of the lot, it packs a good hit of moisture and while I don't love the smell (and it doesn't scream Spring either) I love it for this time of year as it feels much lighter on my skin than the stuff I use in winter.

Lush Strawberry Feels Forever £5.75 // Well, I don't think it's much of a surprise that there's a LUSH product in here! I love their massage bars for moisturising and this one is perfect for this time of year. The bars are so easy and less-messy-than-lotion to use - great for taking with you if you're travelling too as they a) don't weigh much and b) aren't subject to the pesky 100ml rule. Genius. This particular bar has a sweet, but not sickly, strawberries and cream type scent and is a lovely, girly way to give your skin some lovin'.

So that's it for another #FridayFaves - As always, thanks for reading and I'd love to hear what body moisturisers you're diggin' at the moment.
