BIG Collective Beauty Haul!

So, this is a pretty big haul for me. I know generally, swatches are included in a haul post, but frankly I don't have the arm space to swatch all this stuff at once so I'm going to just do a kind of haul overview here and break it down into more focused posts later - or else this is going to be longer than War and Peace to get through!

Bourjois Shine Edition Lipsticks in Rose xoxo, Grenade In, Mauve Tabloid and Beige Democrachic//
I had seen these around in my local Boots for a while but had always kinda written them off as being a little too lipgloss-esque for me; I can't stand having lipgloss on (even the ones people say aren't sticky or gooey *shudder*). Anyway, for some reason I swatched them again in store and discovered that yes, they have a gloss like finish and they're definitely a little sheer; there's some strong colour underneath that lasts way beyond the initial gloss finish. So I picked up a couple to try and so far, though I haven't worn them a lot yet, I'm impressed. Rose xoxo, is shockingly, a rose pink. It has some glitter through it, which normally I don't dig, but it doesn't look or feel very sparkly on - thankfully. I like this as a Summer colour. Grenade In, is a much bolder kind of raspberry pink I think it could be worn Summer into autumn and with the shine finish it's a great transition to a bolder lip if it's not something you're sure of. Mauve Tabloid, is a cooler, plumish berry tone, I love it, but I think I'll leave it more for Autumn. And lastly, my favourite, Beige Democrachic, is a lovely pale nude pink.

Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Guava //
Can't go wrong with some Barry M can you? I picked this one up to add to my Summer collection as... well... any excuse really! It's an incredibly vibrant but not overly harsh, tropical blue. I LOVE it.

Rimmel Salon Pro Kate Moss Nail Varnish in Peppermint //
Again, I thought this would be nice for Summer but a bit softer at the same time. I ordered this online and I actually don't love it as much as I thought I would; the colour isn't as fresh and clear as I thought it would be, I just don't love it for some reason.

Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer //
Haven't used this yet so I can't report much about it, picked it up after hearing good things on the blogosphere and deciding I want to learn more about primers. Initial hand swatches are impressive though; it does seem to blur and soften my skin!

Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights //
Picked this up in the pink shade thinking it would be very subtle... it doesn't appear to be. So now wishing I'd picked up the yellow toned one to counteract redness in my skin rather than having chosen the pink toned one to compliment it! Confusing! Haven't really used this enough to give a review either way yet though.

Models Own lip liner //
What can I say, I needed a lip liner and wasn't sure where to start so, since I was standing in front of the counter, I picked a Models Own one. While I think it'll come in handy to have at some point, I'm already on the hunt for a good clear one that I can keep in my makeup bag for all occasions.

Models Own eyeliner in Peacock Green //
Never tried an eyeliner from Models Own before and thought it was time I did. I'd been looking for a nice green liner - the one I own from Bourjois is a little too pale and sparkly for my liking at the moment whereas this is a deeper, less shimmery shade. It also comes with a smudger and sharpener built in - handy!

Revlon Matte Lip Balm in Elusive //
Very late to the matte balm party aren't I? And truthfully the reason I held off so long was that none of the colours really did it for me. In the end I chose this one as it looked alright on my hand, but actually it isn't flattering on me at all - although the finish and application are rather nice.

Revlon Colourstay Eyeshadow Quad in Siren //
I'm getting more and more into Revlon as a brand... as you can probably tell by this haul, and thought I'd venture into the scary realms of non-neutral eyeshadow palettes with them. Initial swatches leave me a little disappointed though as the colours appear to be very similar.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Frambourjoise  //
Having been thoroughly impressed with the first one of these I picked up - I just had to nab another! This is a kind of pink red that I feel is more flattering for me than orange toned reds. What can I say about these that hasn't been said? If you haven't tried one yet, head down to Boots pronto!

Sleek Blushes in Antique and Pixie Pink //
I actually picked these up on Amazon for I think £2.90 each - bargain. Amazon does have some great deals, it just requires some patience/luck to get them! Antique  is a deep, cool toned, shimmery pink - pretty dusky and probably not really for Summer! Pixie Pink is a matte, in your face, shocking pink. It looks terrifying in the packaging but as with all Sleek blushes, it blends out really well.

The Balm's Shady Lady Eyeshadow Palette Volume 2 //
Two non- nude eyeshadow palettes in one haul!?! Quick build an ark and stock the pantry - the apocalypse must be upon us. Well, maybe. This is a super cute nine colour palette - all shimmers and sparkles - no mattes. Six of the colours are basically nudes and then there are three very wearable colours thrown in there so you can add a little colour to your look if you like.

So that's it, what a haul! I'd like to stress I've picked this all up over a month or so, this wasn't just one particularly out of control afternoon in Boots although Lord knows, that's always a looming possibility!
