Feel Unique Haul

A couple of weeks ago Fee Unique was doing a site wide 15% discount code and that was al the encouragement I needed to do a little shopping.  I picked up four things, and I love all of them so it was definitely a successful haul.

Firstly I picked the Cosmopolitan Smokey Eye Brush Trio for £6.95 (before discount). I don't own many brushes, just the Real Techniques ones, and, while I'm happy with them, I fancied a couple of different shapes/sizes to play around with since eye makeup is my favourite thing to do. This set has a base brush, angled brush and foam smudger. Handy for a little experimentation.

I've mentioned already a couple of times that I've fallen in love with the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser and so I thought I'd pick up some while it was on offer, but, when browsing around the First Aid Beauty Fab Faves To Go Kit for £20.50 (before discount) caught my eye. This contains minis (but good size minis, not tiny ones) of the Face Cleanser, Ultra Repair Cream and Facial Radiance Pads, so I thought it would be good to get this - more of the product I know I love and the chance to try out some new ones too.

Thirdly I chose something from a brand I've never tried before, I got the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen Set for £16.50 (before discount). It contains 5 travel size eye pencils in such gorgeous shades (scroll down for swatches) and also, a little sharpener. The pencils were just such wearable shades and the packaging was adorable, I just couldn't resist!

And lastly I picked up something I've wanted to try for a long time. It's the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush for £14.50 (before discount). I spent ages looking through all the different shades, they all look amazing but in the end I settled for Cherub. A) because it looks so wearably beautiful and B) because I was looking for something similar in colour to TheBalm's Cider cream blush because I'm close to hitting pan, and it can't be bought individually. See Cherub swatched below, on the left.

  1. Those eye pencils are so pretty, I haven't seen much of Pixi but the purple shade is my favourite! The watercolour blush is very wearable, I haven't seen anything like it so far :) xx

    1. I am in love with that watercolour blush!! I'm already plotting which one to go for next - so many of the colours look amazing! It's just so different - a liquid blush - bit it works so well to give such a natural, almost dewy look which is just what I need with my dry skin!

I haven't actually used the Pixi pencils much yet *slaps self on wrist* but I do take them out and just stare at the pretty colours!!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting
