Stocking Fillers// SEVENTEEN Lip Gloss Library

I've been getting steadily more into lip products that aren't lipstick - gloss, butter, pencil etc. - and also more into SEVENTEEN makeup; so you can probably guess why I picked these up then huh?

This is the SEVENTEEN Lip Gloss Library and it costs £6 (and is part of the Boots Christmas gift 3 for 2). For £6 you get six minis of their lip lustres, all of them are gloss finish, ranging from an everyday sheen to full on sparkly.

They have a simple doe-foot applicator and I find the texture of them pleasant enough. I mean, they are a bit sticky, but for the price it's not a big deal.

Onto the slightly less positive aspects now. As you can see in the swatches above, the three paler shades are pretty much indistinguishable; and they're even less noticeable on the lips than on my paler than pale arm.

I don't feel they're patchy on my lips, more just that they're all a bit meh other than the red, also the wear time really isn't great, so I don't have a lot of fun wearing them as essentially just clear glosses. I hoped in picking these up it would be a fun way to try out some different shades without a big price tag or committing to full tubes I would probably never finish.

While £6 is hardly a big splurge, I still wouldn't really recommend these unless maybe you're looking for a stocking filler for someone younger whose just getting into makeup? This is a cute set and they're not threatening or too bold to play with.
